Martha, Kate, and I traveled west to Utah for the weekend to explore Arches National Park, a place we have wanted to experience for a long time (read Edward Abbey's Desert Solitaire)...

The girls climbed all over everything while I observed with my feet planted safely on the ground...

There's nothing like cooking your food over an open fire and sleeping on the ground...

And we enjoyed the great outdoors as we always do.
