Angela and I at our Christmas party here in Cairo. I was just thinking about Christmas-es past...2 years ago I was in Birmingham and I had NO idea I would be here 2 years down the road...and last year I was at home in Arkansas and although I knew I would be here, it still didn't feel real. Sort of hard to really imagine what my life would look like in the Middle East. It's definitely strange to spend Christmas so far from home and family but God has been so good to provide family here on this side of the world. And I'm even making a special trip to a special place during Christmas (!) so I definitely have nothing to complain about...more on that later...God is good.
