Over Thanksgiving a big group of us drove several hours out into the desert to go camping. As usual, it was beautiful. The stars were so bright and the silence was golden. And instead of turkey, dressing, and sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner, we had rice and peas and Bedouin tea.
