I taught myself to knit (sort of) while I was living in Birmingham and since moving here, the heat just doesn’t give me enough reason to knit but since the temperatures are now dropping, I can feel “winter” arriving and a perfect reason to pull out the old knitting needles. I found a few small sewing shops in another part of town and visited again last week to stock up on yarn for a few projects. Babies are being born faster than I can get blankets finished! Now, I realize this is probably absolutely BORING for some of you but I know others will enjoy it. Angela, Julie, and I now spend our free evenings (yeah, when does THAT ever happen) knitting! We love it!
