You know how you hear about "Israeli settlements" on the news but you never know what that really means? Well, here is a photo of a typial Jewish settlement. A settlement is a small Jewish area with shops and homes built on Palestinian land. This settlement is fairly new and covers the hill in the photo. It is located just outside Jerusalem, on the way to Bethlehem (which is just a few minutes down the road).
