The entrance to the Luxor Temple. In front of this temple stands an ancient pink granite obelisk (see below picture). In the ancient days there were two and now one of the pair stands in the Place de la Concorde in Paris. I had a major world-traveler moment when I realized that I have seen the one in Paris! I never thought I would see both!
