Standstill traffic as everyone rushes home for iftar (the break fast meal at sunset) during Ramadan. I think all 20 million inhabitants of this city must be in the streets at that time. Let me just tell you, it’s really fun to be stuck in a taxi with a hungry/thirsty/nicotine-craving taxi driver, in the heat, in the middle of all this traffic. Good times.
