One of my greatest heroes for peace, Elias Chacour. He traveled from his homeland in Palestine to my city for a lecture series on the Middle Eastern peace process and how believers should view the issues from God's perspective, rather than from our pre-conceived ideas about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. He has been nominated again this year for the Nobel Peace Prize and I highly recommend either of his books, Blood Brothers or We Belong to the Land.

I'm so jealous! I look forward to hearing more about what E. Chacour said and what he's like. I just finished Blood Brothers last week.
