A few weeks ago I went to a very large souk in my city where you can find just about anything you can imagine. Having been there a couple of times before, I knew what I was after...alabaster. The alabaster that is produced (?) here is beautiful! I went into this alabaster shop and came out about an hour later with my purchases....a gorgeous alabaster vase and four smaller candle holders that are now on display in my living room. It was such a hard decision but well worth the time, don't you think?
